MADRID (Thomson Financial) - An Abertis Infraestructuras SA spokeswoman confirmed that the company has lodged an offer for Wind and 3 Italy's 18,500 broadcasting aerials, but clarified that the offer is 'non-binding.'The spokeswoman also confirmed that Abertis has made its offer on its own for the time being, as reported by Expansion.'We are interested in the operation, which is being handled as a private deal' as opposed to a public tender, she said.'We have made a non-binding offer and we need to see how the process develops,' she added.Wind and 3 Italy have placed the broadcasting aerials in a joint venture, in which they are selling a 50.1 pct stake, in a deal valued at around some 2 bln eur.tfn.europemadrid@thomson.comjdy/ccs/sljCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
