VIENNA (Thomson Financial) - Flughafen Wien AG (Vienna Airport) chief executive Herbert Kaufmann said he welcomed Slovak premier Robert Fico's interest in the closer cooperation between Bratislava Airport and Vienna.In an interview with the Austrian daily Der Standard, Kaufmann said that Vienna Airport is looking for further projects and with larger-scale projects will use a partner or finance investor.Last week the Slovak premier said that while the Bratislava airport 'will never be sold', discussions on a possible co-operation between the airports in Vienna and Bratislava were coming along well.Vienna Airport currently has holdings in Malta Airport, Kosice International in Slovakia, and Friedrichshafen Airport in Germany on the Swiss- Austrian border.fiona.flanagan@thomson.comff/lamCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
