Rosneft denies won Yukos Dutch unit auction

MOSCOW (Thomson Financial) - Russia's biggest oil company Rosneft has denied earlier reports that it is connected with Promneftstroi, the company that has won an auction in Moscow for the Dutch unit of Yukos for over 7.8 bln roubles, according to the Interfax news agency.

In addition, the Dutch unit of Yukos, Yukos Finance, has insisted that as the bankruptcy of Yukos has not been recognised under Dutch law, Russia is not entitled to sell its assets, according to Russian press agencies.
