FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Daimler AG management board member Andreas Renschler reiterated truck profits for full year 2007 will be flat even though markets in the US and Japan have declined steeper than expected, according to his interview with Financial Times Deutschland.For 2007, he said, 'earnings will match the record levels achieved in the previous year'.He said Mercedes-Benz trucks is expected to post a record in unit sales this year.Last year, Daimler's truck operations -- which comprise Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner among others -- recorded an operating profit of 2 bln eur.marilyn.gerlach@thomson.commog/cwCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
