Deutsche Bahn offers up to 10 pct wage hike to train drivers |

FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Bahn AG said it has offered to increase the wages of train drivers by up to 10 pct in a bid to avert industrial action planned for this week.It said the company has also offered a one-time payment of 2,000 eur to the train drivers union GDL.The offer to raise wages by up to 10 pct would be effective from next year, it added.GDL has crippled about one third of regional and commuter trains operated throughout Germany during strikes staged last Friday.
