PASCAGOULA, Mississippi (Thomson Financial) - Chevron Corp said it will invest about 500 mln usd to build a gasoline production unit at its refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi, which will increase output by about 10 pct, or about 600,000 gallons a day.Chevron said construction of the 'continuous catalyst regeneration' (CCR) project will begin early next year and is expected to be completed by the middle of 2010.'The new CCR unit will improve equipment reliability and utilization, and allow the refinery to optimize product yields,' the company said.tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.comwjCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
