(AP) - Under the tentative contract between Chrysler LLC and the United Auto Workers, 14 factories either have no new products listed beyond the life cycle of what they now make or the length of the four-year deal. Seven plants get new products, according to a summary of the agreement.Assembly plants:-- Belvidere, Ill.: Dodge Caliber, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass through life of agreement and product life cycle.-- Conner Avenue, Detroit: Dodge Viper through product life cycle. Company plans to close, but UAW will continue to seek new vehicle.-- Newark, Del.: Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen sport utility vehicles through product life cycle. Identified for closure, but UAW will advocate for new product.-- Sterling Heights, Mich.: Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger through product life cycle.-- St. Louis South: Chrysler Town and Country and Dodge Caravan minivans through product life cycle. Long-term viability tied to volume. UAW will advocate for new product.-- St. Louis North: Dodge Ram truck through current life cycle including 2008 launch of new model.-- Warren Truck, Warren, Mich.: Dodge Ram truck through current life cycle including 2008 launch of new model. Dodge Dakota and Mitsubishi Raider pickups through product life cycle.Powertrain plants-- Detroit Axle: Axle production through life of products or lifetime of agreement. Facility to close and be replaced by new Marysville, Mich., plant, and workers can transfer.-- Indiana Transmission I and II, Kokomo, Ind.: Rear wheel drive transmissions through current life cycle or life of contract.
