HVB CEO Sprissler says financial market turbulence not yet over |

FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - HVB AG chief executive Wolfgang Sprissler said the financial market turbulence triggered by US subprime market woes is not yet over.Speaking at the Bavarian Banking Association, which he chairs, Sprissler said that the industry must determine lessons it can learn from the ongoing crisis but this should not result in greater state regulation.'We need more transparency in the markets so that comprehensive information can be made available to help market participants make their decisions and can be correctly accessed by competition,' he added.marilyn.gerlach@thomson.comdp/mog/lhtCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
