China approves Bridgetech Holdings unit pharmaceutical ops application

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Guangzhou Bridgetech Medicines Co Ltd, a wholly-owned unit of San Diego-based Bridgetech Holdings International Inc, said it received Chinese government approval to import, export and distribute its western medicine products in the country.

The authorization allows Guangzhou Bridgetech to operate for 30 years in China.

Last year Bridgetech set up research centers in Guangzhou and Hong Kong to facilitate the approval process for its applications to China for drugs and medical devices, and to manage clinical trials focused on cancer treatments.
