ATHENS (AFX) - Greek betting technology company Intralot said that its 45 pct controlled unit Inteltek has been awarded a one year contract for the operation of Turkeys betting game Iddaa, confirming what sources had said yesterday to AFX News. The betting on athletic games will resume tomorrow with Inteltek, which had been suspended on March 1 due to a successful legal challenge.Inteltek had originally won the tender to run Iddaa from Turkeys betting organisation Spor Toto, but the tender was overruled by Ankaras Supreme Court. The market is awaiting the launch of a new long term tender by Turkish sport authorities via requests for proposals (RFP).Inteltek is 55 pct-owned by US-listed Turkcell.Source: Euro2day.gr NewsWire elaboratingskrekas@euro2day.grns/gpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
