BRUSSELS (AFX) - European airline traffic rose 5.3 pct in November from a year earlier, the Association of European Airlines said.Air traffic within Europe was up 7.7 pct, Far Eastern traffic also rose 7.7 pct while North American routes posted a rise of just 0.3 pct.The association said for the whole of 2006, it expects a half-point improvement in traffic over 2005.It said the growth is 'a smaller margin than in the previous two years but still a remarkable performance as achieved levels continue to be pushed to new heights.'simon.zekaria@thomson.comsz/jsaCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
