Lockheed gets $124.9M Army deal

WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Army said Monday it awarded a $124.9 million contract boost to Lockheed Martin Corp. to deliver rockets and munitions.

The Grand Prairie, Texas-based unit won the pact on May 8 to deliver guided multiple launch rocket systems, improved munitions and unitary rockets.

The company is expected to complete work by Nov. 30, 2008.

Shares of Lockheed Martin rose 36 cents to $99.20 Monday.
