LIMA, Peru (Thomson Financial) - A massive earthquake rocked Peru on Wednesday, reportedly killing at least 15 people and prompting evacuations in Peruvian and Colombian coastal cities amid fears of a tsunami.The earthquake, which struck off the coast of central Peru, was felt as far as neighboring Ecuador and temporarily triggered a tsunami warning for South America's Pacific coast. The warning was later cancelled by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.At least 15 people died and more than 150 were injured as buildings collapsed in the southern Peruvian coastal cities of Ica and Pisco, local media reported.The quake whose epicenter was 148 kilometers (92 miles) south-southeast of Lima struck at 2341 GMT, according to the US Geological Survey.
