ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Diversified manufacturer 3M Co. said it agreed to buy Thailand's Neoplast Co., which makes skin and wound care products.Financial terms were not disclosed.Late Wednesday, the company said Neoplast makes surgical tapes and dressings and first aid bandages for both the professional and consumer markets in the Asia Pacific region. It employs about 700 people.The deal is expected to close in the third quarter.3M makes products ranging from Scotch tape and Post-it Notes to dental and medical supplies.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
