PRAGUE (Thomson Financial) - Czech refinery Unipetrol had to suspend the starting of its subsidiary Ceska Rafinerska units due to a failure at its partial oxidation unit that occurred on Saturday, Unipetrol said in a statement.The damages haven't been estimated yet, the statement said.'We are taking measures that will enable the start of (Ceska Rafinerska) units without being dependent on hydrogen supplies from the partial oxidation unit,' Unipetrol's investors' relations manager Radek Nemecek said.'Still, some negative influence on Ceska Rafinerska full capacity utilization can be expected.'Unipetrol, majority owned by Polish PKN Orlen, halted production in Ceska Rafinerska due to plant upgrades and works on raising capacity.jana.mlcochova@thomson.com +420 222 191 108jm1/jfrCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
