PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Employees of French daily newspaper Les Echos have been told the consultation period over its sale to LVMH is over, La Tribune reported.The employees are planning to take the management to court, claiming their representatives have not been given enough time to examine documents.La Tribune, which is owned by LVMH, is set to be sold once the group owns Les Echos.La Tribune reported that its managers have informed staff of the possibility of an extraordinary works council meeting on Friday, leading to speculation that the deal could be announced then.helen.beresford@thomson.comhem/lamCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
