WARSAW (Thomson Financial) - Poland's revenues from privatisation for 2007 will top 2 bln zlotys after the completion of a transaction today and a further deal to follow by the end of the week, Treasury Minister Wojciech Jasinski said.'After the transaction we have signed today with Mittal Steel, income from privatisation has already topped 1.8 bln zlotys,' Treasury Minister Wojciech Jasinski told reporters.'By the end of the week it should exceed 2 bln zlotys.'Income from privatisation provides the finance ministry with funding to cover its annual budget deficit, reducing the amount it has to borrow on foreign and domestic debt markets.adrian.krajewski@thomson.com *48 22 447 2430pjg/jfrCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
