FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - The European Central Bank said net foreign currency reserves in the eurosystem decreased by 0.1 bln eur to 142 bln in the week to Oct 12, compared with the previous week.The ECB said banknotes in circulation within the eurosystem -- which comprises the ECB and the central banks of the euro zone countries -- fell by 0.7 bln eur to 640.6 bln.The gold position fell by 108 mln eur to 186.97 bln.judith.csaba@thomson.comjcs/vs/mog/lhtCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
