Chrysler to launch Dodge brand in China in 2007 |

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Chrysler Group said it will introduce its Dodge brand to China this year.In a statement, Chrysler said it is establishing a Dodge retail network throughout China with both existing and new dealers.The first Dodge product for China will be announced later this year, the statement said.Dodge will join Chrysler's other two brands - Jeep and Chrysler - which are already available in China.The struggling US automaker last week launched the Chrysler PT Cruiser in China, following the introduction of the locally produced Chrysler 300C last year.The statement said another Chrysler vehicle and three new Jeep vehicles will be launched in China this year.will.davies@afxasia.com
