German shares AFX at a glance outlook

FRANKFURT (AFX) - German shares are expected to open lower today after a flat close last night, but with momentum expected for the afternoon with the production index due to be released in the US.

At 8.45 am, brokerage Lang & Schwarz forecast the DAX 30 index will open

about 7 points lower at 6,951 after closing at 6,958.62 yesterday.
