HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. (AP) - Shares of generic drug developer Interpharm Holdings Inc. rose Friday after the company announced the resignation of its chief financial officer.Interpharm said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that CFO George Aronson, who was the company's top financial officer for three years, resigned 'to pursue other opportunities,' effective Thursday.The company named Peter Giallorenzo, 49, as his replacement. Giallorenzo, who also becomes an executive vice president, is to receive an annual salary of $237,500, plus stock options, the company said in an SEC filing.Shares of Interpharm were up 14 cents, or 8.1 percent, to $1.86 in afternoon trading on the American Stock Exchange.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
