LONDON (AFX) - Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd said it has received tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration to manufacture and market insomnia drug Zolpidem Tartrate, a bio-equivalent of Sanofi-Aventis' Ambien drug.In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said the products will be manufactured at the company's New Jersey-based Ohm Laboratories Inc facility.It will launch the Zolpidem Tartrate 5mg and 10mg tablets, the bio equivalent of Sanofi Aventis US, LLC's listed drug Ambien tablets 5mg and 10mg once final approval is received from the FDA, the company added.newsdesk@afxnews.comsmi/ra/lamCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
