Wolters Kluwer says it wants to sell Education division |

AMSTERDAM (AFX) - Publishing group Wolters Kluwer NV said it wants to sell its Education division without indicating the likely cost.Until today Wolters Kluwer had said it was exploring 'strategic options' for the division, though most analysts had assumed the group would sell the unit.Analysts have recently estimated the selling price at approximately 700 mln eur.The Education publishing division is the largest in Europe and owns businesses in the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and employs around 1,450 employees.kaj.leers@thomson.comkel/twCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
