LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Media buying and market research group Aegis Group PLC has advised its shareholders to once again vote against Groupe Bollore board nominees at its AGM next month.Aegis said a rejection was 'in the interests of good corporate governance' after Bollore proposed to appoint Philippe Germond and Roger Hatchuel to the Aegis board for a fourth time. The company said over 90 pct of independent shareholders rejected the Bollore nominees all the three times they have been proposed since June 2006.Aegis also said the effective functioning of the Aegis board would be unacceptably compromised if a competitor were to appoint representatives.Aegis will hold its AGM on May 25.TFN.newsdesk@thomson.comrda/tcCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
