PHOENIX (AP) - Apollo Group Inc., a for-profit education provider that runs the University of Phoenix, said Monday it received a warning from Nasdaq that it is not in compliance with listing requirements due to a delay in filing its second-quarter financial report.Apollo has been unable to file the quarterly results on time because it is in the process of restating its financials after an internal investigation showed certain former officers may have tried to hide deficiencies in options accounting.Nasdaq previously agreed to give Apollo until May 25 to show it is in compliance with all listing requirements.Apollo said it is working on the restated financials and plans to file its delinquent reports by April 30. It anticipates being in compliance with all of the Nasdaq listing requirements by the imposed deadline.Copyright 2007 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
