BETHESDA, Md. (AP) - Defense contractor Lockheed Martin Corp. said Monday it has acquired Australia-based RLM Systems Pty Ltd., which provides information technology support to the Australian government's defense and intelligence programs.Financial terms of the cash deal were not disclosed.RLM Systems supports defense and intelligence programs through systems engineering, software development and integration and program management services.Lockheed acquired the firm from RLM Holdings, which is a joint venture between Lockheed and Tenix Group, a privately held Australia-based technology and defense contractor.The new entity will do business as Lockheed Martin Australia Information Systems & Global Services, a division of Lockheed Martin Australia Pty Ltd.Shares of Lockheed dipped 24 cents to close at $96 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
