BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China National Petroleum Corp, the parent of PetroChina Co Ltd ( HK 0857 ), said its unit China Petroleum Technology Development Corp has signed a 200 mln usd contract to supply drilling rigs and other oil exploration equipment to Uzbekistan's state-run oil company, Uzbekneftegaz.Under the deal, China Petroleum Technology will sell 23 drilling rigs and other equipment to Uzbekneftegaz.Last August, Uzbekneftegaz signed a production-sharing agreement with a consortium consisting of Lukoil, Malaysia's Petronas, China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC), and South Korea's National Oil Corp to explore and develop in the Uzbek part of the Aral Sea.kelly.zang@xfn.com
