HONG KONG (XFN-ASIA) - DBS Vickers said it has downgraded PetroChina Co Ltd

to 'fully valued' from 'hold' after the oil company reported

weaker-than-expected fourth quarter production figures.

China's CNPC unit to sell 200 mln usd of drilling rigs to Uzbekneftegaz

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China National Petroleum Corp, the parent of PetroChina

Co Ltd ( HK 0857 ), said its unit China Petroleum Technology Development Corp

has signed a 200 mln usd contract to supply drilling rigs and other oil

exploration equipment to Uzbekistan's state-run oil company, Uzbekneftegaz.

Georgia begins receiving gas from Azerbaijan

TBLISI (AFX) - Georgia began receiving its first supplies of gas from

Azerbaijan yesterday, Energy Minister Nika Guilaouri said, as the Caucasus state

moved to end its traditional over-reliance on its chief supplier Russia.
