TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Co Ltd said it and South Korea's Daewoo Securities Co Ltd have agreed to form a business alliance focused on areas ranging from corporate finance, investment banking and other financial products.The two companies will also look at possibly providing reciprocal support in a range of areas including mergers and acquisitions in Japan and South Korea, a Mitsubishi UFJ Securities spokesman said.Mitsubishi UFJ Securities is part of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and Daewoo Securities is one of the Korea's leading securities company.(1 usd = 120.40 yen)kaori.kaneko@xfn.com
