TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Japan Airlines Corp will abandon less profitable international flights while increasing service to North America and other popular destinations under a medium-term business plan to be unveiled next month, the Nikkei reported, without citing sources.Targeted for cancellation are flights departing Narita International Airport for Zurich, which have been operating three times a week in summer, the business daily said.In all, JAL will slash the number of international flights by 10 a week, the report said.At the same time, JAL will will increase its Narita-New York service to 13 flights a week from 10 and increase services between Narita and Paris to 14 times a week from 10, it said.(1 usd = 120.66 yen)yasuhiko.seki@xfn.com
