Lockheed Martin gets $7.4M Navy deal

WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Navy on Tuesday awarded a $7.4 million delivery order to a unit of Lockheed Martin Corp.

Lockheed Martin's Maritime Systems and Sensor division will design, make and test 12 modernization kits and spares for three long-range radar systems.

The company will perform the work in Syracuse, N.Y., through July 2009.

Shares of Lockheed Martin rose 31 cents to $99.51.
