Basilea files for market approval of Ceftobiprol in Canada

ZURICH (Thomson Financial) - Basilea Pharmaceutica AG said it has filed a drug submission for market approval of Ceftobiprol -- a candidate for the treatment of severe skin infections -- with the Therapeutic Products Directorate of Health in Canada.

ZURICH (Thomson Financial) - Basilea Pharmaceutica AG said it has filed a drug submission for market approval of Ceftobiprol -- a candidate for the treatment of severe skin infections -- with the Therapeutic Products Directorate of Health in Canada.

The Swiss pharma group has previously initiated approval procedures in the US and the Europe.
