HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - The price of PIX Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft averaged 579.74 eur per tonne in the week ending July 15, a fall of 7.71 eur from the previous week, Foex Indexes Ltd said.In dollar terms, the PIX NBSK was 0.30 usd higher at 799.00 usd.Foex, a provider of audited, trade-mark registered pulp and paper indexes, said the PIX Bleached Hardwood Kraft Pulp (BHKP) price index dropped 6.87 eurduring the same week to 507.91 eur per tonne.Among the key paper grades, the price of light weight coated (LWC) paper dipped 1.14 eur to 675.27 eur.Coated woodfree paper fell 1.03 eur to 715.22 eur and newsprint edged 0.16 eur lower to 538.62 eur.PIX data is compiled using price information from buyers, sellers and agents.james.etheridge@thomson.comje/slmCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
