WARSAW (Thomson Financial) - Poland's budget deficit may reach 23 bln zlotys this year, or 7 bln below the full-year plan, as a booming economy fuels higher inflows into state coffers, finance minister Zyta Gilowska told a news conference.'Deficit will definitely not exceed last year's level of 25.1 bln zlotys,' Gilowska said. 'My intuition tells me the deficit at the end of this year could reach 23 bln zlotys.'Poland's budget showed a 615 mln zlotys surplus at the end of July compared to a planned 16 bln deficit, deputy finance ministry told Thomson Financial News yesterday.piotr.skolimowski@thomson.com +48 22 447 24 36ps1/jagCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
