LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Energy contractor Bateman Litwin NV said its wholly-owned unit Litwin SA has been awarded two contracts, based on its PROABD Melt Static Crystallization technology, for a total value of 45 mln usd.The company said the contracts have been awarded by Angang Steel Co Ltd, the second largest Chinese steel producer in the Liaoning Province and the Laigang Steel Group Ltd, a steel producer in the Shandong Province.'These contract awards demonstrate the strength and the ability of Litwin technology to turn crude tar into valuable products, and highlights our positioning as an important EPC solution provider,' chief executive Max Abitbol said.TFN.newsdesk@thomson.comtsm/raCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
