COPENHAGEN (Thomson Financial) - Shares were slightly higher in quiet midmorning trade led by Vestas Wind Systems AS.At 10.30 am, the OMXC20 index was up 1.28 points at 507.22 and the OMXCB Benchmark index gained 1.74 points to 483.49.Vestas Wind Systems AS gained 4.00 dkr to 439.00, rebounding from yesterday's downturn.Novo Nordisk AS was up 6.00 dkr at 623.00. The FDA warned that the diabetes treatment Byetta, which is marketed by the Danish group's US-based competitors Eli Lilly and Amylin, may be linked to dangerous inflammation of the pancreas.William Demant AS was up 5.00 dkr at 437.00 and GN Store Nord AS added 0.25 dkr to 57.25. According to the RB Boersen news agency, the hearing aid makers' Swiss peer Sonova will present a number of new hearing aids at German hearing aid fair EUHA.Carlsberg AS gained 1.00 dkr to 758.00. Eastern European brewer Baltika, which is partly owned by Carlsberg, approved a previously proposed 2.95 bln dkr share buyback programme, RB Boersen said.DS Torm AS was down 2.00 dkr at 217.00 and DS Norden AS fell 8.00 dkr to 678.00.Trygvesta AS shed 0.50 dkr to 424.50.
