MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Moody's Investors Service said it has assigned a provisional rating of (P)A3 to Gaz Capital SA's proposed euro-denominated loan participation notes.The proceeds will be on-lent to the world's largest gas company OJSC Gazprom for general corporate purposes therefore notes holders are relying solely on Gazprom's credit quality to service and repay the debt.The agency said it regards Gazprom as a government-related issuer and thus ratings incorporate high implied state support and the company's medium dependence.The notes will be placed within the framework of 30 bln usd loan participation notes programme, Moody's said, adding it will assign a definitive rating to the notes after a conclusive review of the transaction.TFN.newsdesk@thomson.comapm/jroCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
