Oesterreichische Post to enter into final talks for BAWAG minority stake UPDATE

VIENNA (Thomson Financial) - Oesterreichische Post AG (Austrian Post) said today its supervisory board had unanimously authorised the management board to enter into final negotiations regarding the acquisition of a minority stake in Austrian bank BAWAG.

Last December, Austrian Post was among the Cerberus-led consortium which acquired BAWAG from its owners, the OeGB trade union.
