MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Alitalia SpA said it has cancelled nearly 400 flights on May 22 because of strikes called from 10am to 6pm by air traffic controllers and by Alitalia's own flight attendants.Alitalia officials declined to give a number for flight cancellations, but a list of cancelled flights published on Alitalia's website totalled 396, according to by Thomson Financial News calculations.Alitalia officials said the cancellations could change by May 22.nigel.tutt@thomson.comnt/ms1COPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
