PARIS (Thomson Financial) - French president Nicolas Sarkozy will visit the headquarters of Airbus in Toulouse at midday tomorrow to meet staff and trade union officials at the EADS unit, the Elysee presidential palace said.The statement confirmed earlier comments by a representative of the FO union claiming Sarkozy would visit Airbus to brief employees on his discussion with German chancellor Angela Merkel regarding EADS.The new French president said during his trip to Berlin yesterday to meet Merkel an agreement between France and Germany over EADS was a matter of 'urgency'.tfn.paris@thomson.comafp/gt/ms1COPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
