LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Aegis shareholders should reject Bollore group's latest request for board seats at Aegis' AGM on May 25, corporate governance specialist Pirc said in a report published this week and obtained by Agence France-Presse.Pirc, which advises UK shareholders, said Bollore's presence on the board of Aegis would represent a 'conflict of interest', echoing the argument used by Aegis' current board.Bollore, which has a 25 pct stake in Aegis, is the leading shareholder in rival advertising group Havas.Pirc added Bollore should refrain from repeating its request for board seats after overwhelmingly losing three votes in the past year.tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.comafp/gt/ms1COPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
