PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Plastic Omnium, the French car parts maker, said its sales rose 9.3 pct to 1.89 bln eur in the nine months to end September, up from 1.73 bln eur in the same period last year.Analysts had expected sales of 1.8 bln eur for the period.Plastic Omnium, which makes car bumpers, fenders and body panels as well as fuel tanks, said growth in its automotive business was led by strong demand for body modules and robust sales in fast-growing markets such as Slovakia, China, Argentina and Brazil.greg.keller@thomson.comgk1/jfrCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
