HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Shares are expected to open slightly higher, with Nokia and Fortum -- typically the two heaviest traded shares on the bourse -- to dominate as they post third-quarter results today.Yesterday, the OMX Helsinki 25 index ended up 1.26 pct at 3,251.05, with Nokia finishing 3.23 pct higher at 25.60 eur. Nokia's US-listed shares finished at the equivalent of 25.67 eur.The handset maker is expected to report a 62 pct jump in third-quarter earnings per share to 0.34 eur, including charges relating to Nokia Siemens Networks, helped by robust demand for its products.FORTHCOMING EVENTSTODAY-Fortum Q3 results (9.00 am); Pretax profit forecast 228 mln eur (excl Lenenergo sale gain) vs 194 mln; sales 911 mln eur, down 4 pct-Cargotec Q3 results (12.00 pm)-Nokia Q3 results (1.00 pm).
