LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - The former general manager of a West Texas wool company was sentenced to just over five years in prison for swindling his employer out of about $2 million.Donovan Frank Laughlin pleaded guilty in May to misappropriating more than $2 million, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office on Thursday. He was sentenced to 63 months last week.U.S. District Judge Sam Cummings also ordered Laughlin, 60, to pay just over $2 million in restitution. He must surrender to prison authorities November 16.Laughlin, formerly of Wool Growers Central Storage Company, was once named the citizen of the year in Ozona.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
