BONN (Thomson Financial) - German regulator Bundesnetzagentur is probing whether Deutsche Telekom AG is discriminating against DSL competitors in the German broadband market, president Matthias Kurth said. The watchdog said that it sees the upsurge in the broadband market encumbered by a contract hold-up concerning orders of the access network, which is provided by Deutsche Telekom.Competitors Arcor and Telefonica SA had previously filed a complaint with the regulator, saying that customers' DSL accesses would be delayed.Deutsche Telekom has refuted the allegation.'We adhere to supply agreed contingents within 7 days. But delays can take place, if competitors book more access networks than previously agreed,' a Deutsche Telekom spokesman said.christoph.steitz@thomson.commur/cs1/ajbCOPYRIGHTCopyright Thomson Financial News Limited 2007.
