LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Bombardier Transportation said it has won a 40 mln eur contract to refurbish trains for the Dutch national railways.Bombardier said Nederlandse Spoorwegen Reizigers, a subsidiary of the Dutch railway company Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), had commissioned it to refit 30 SGM II two-car units.The Canadian company will carry out the work on the trains, which were originally built between 1974 and 1979 by the Bombardier plant in Aachen in Germany, at its plant in Randers, Denmark, between now and 2009.philip.waller@thomson.compaw/ejpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
