Nokia Siemens Networks wins Moscow 3G network order from MTS

HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Nokia Siemens Networks said it has won an order to build a 3G radio network in the Moscow region for Russia's Mobile Telesystems OJSC (MTS), but did not disclose its value.

The deal for the Wideband Code Division Multiple Access network includes data transfer hardware and software, implementation and technical services.

Nokian Siemens Networks, a joint venture between Finland's Nokia and Germany's Siemens, will begin rolling out the network this summer.
