NEW YORK (AFX) - Monster Worldwide Inc.'s subsidiary Monster Worldwide Scandinavia AB said Wednesday it acquired all outstanding shares of Arbeidskamerater AS, a Norwegian online career sales company.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Monster Worldwide, the parent of online job board Monster.com, said Arbeidskamerater was founded as a sales agent to increase the number of jobs on the Norwegian Monster site.'Norway is a very attractive market for investment because of its highly favorable economic and labor conditions,' said Marc de Vries, managing director of Monster Northern Europe.Shares of Monster gained 63 cents to $50.86 in midday trading on the Nasdaq.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
