NEW YORK (AFX) - Data center services provider Equinix Inc. said Wednesday in a regulatory filing that the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California withdrew its grand jury subpoena requesting documents relating to Equinix's stock option grants and practices.As reported, the Securities and Exchange Commission in December terminated its investigation of Equinix's stock option grants without recommending any enforcement action. The company received an informal inquiry from the SEC in June.The company completed an internal review in August 2006. Equinix is one of about 200 companies that have disclosed federal or internal investigations into their stock options grants.Shares fell 37 cents to $81.70 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
