CATSKILL, N.Y. (AFX) - Greene County Bancorp Inc. said Wednesday its board approved a semi-annual cash dividend of 25 cents per share, an increase of 8.7 percent from its previous semi-annual dividend of 23 cents.The dividend is payable March 1 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 15.The company is the majority-owned subsidiary of Greene County Bancorp MHC, a federal mutual holding company.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
